Books, bags, shoes and study material distributed to students, funded from the profits earned by the Foundation's music programmes. Initiated at the Foundation's founding, the scheme continues without interruption.

The Foundation is envisioned to be a reflection of Smt. Pavithra R Prabhakar Reddy's commitment and resolve towards propagating, preserving and promoting all kinds of music and art forms of India, besides addressing deep-rooted social issues through result-oriented social service, by mobilising people from all walks of life.

What we do
Programmes in the field
Every programme below is funded, in whole or in part, by the proceeds of the Foundation's music performances.
Free music & art education
Free classes in Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Hindustani, Carnatic music and Sugama Sangeetha for aspiring students, with solid platforms to showcase their talents and take the field up as a full-scale profession.
Disaster & crisis relief
During the COVID-19 pandemic, landslides and floods, the Foundation reached the affected and the destitute with food kits, medicines and protective equipment.
Prathibha Puraskara
Awards for talented children, alongside free education and training camps organised to develop and extend their abilities.
Anna Dasoha
The Foundation's food service, free meals offered as part of its core mandate of free music education and Anna Dasoha.
Women's empowerment
Skill development, technical training, self-employment programmes and financial assistance extended to women in need.
The model
The stage funds the seva
Saantvana was designed so that art and welfare are not separate budgets. Concerts, festival performances and commissioned programmes generate the funds; those funds buy the school bags, the medicines and the training.
It is why the Foundation's charter puts music preservation and social reform in the same document, and why its programmes reach both the auditorium and the flood shelter.

The nine objectives
The Foundation's charter, as registered.
To plan and implement comprehensive programmes, intended to preserve and propagate the rich cultural heritage of all forms of music and artistic traditions of India.
To compose music and bring into international recognition the poems, Sugama Sangeeta, Light Music and Folklore traditions of Karnataka.
Organising free classes to impart free music education & art classes like Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Hindustani, Carnatic music and Light Music to aspiring students, and to offer solid platforms to showcase their talents, encouraging more and more people to take this field as a full-scale profession.
Free schools for music and art with advanced technologies will be opened beyond caste, creed, sex and regional discriminations.
To create the best quality Theatre/Dramas, TV Serials and Movies to create awareness and to educate the general public about the richness of India's culture, music & artistic heritage and the importance of preserving & promoting it.
To extend the services to larger public issues, by offering skill development, technical training, self-employment programmes, and financial assistance to women in need.
To offer free education to less privileged children by addressing their academic requirements.
To strive to create an equitable society, that is not only more tolerant but co-existing despite caste, creed, religion and gender differences.
To work for the betterment and emotional health of our people and hence the society, to promote a sense of peace among all.
